We Are |

Signal-Tech is one of the leading LED sign companies in the United States. Signal-Tech's
founders originated the dual message Banking Industry Drive-Thru
Lane Controller in 1954, the first neon backlit OPEN/CLOSED
sign. Using their expertise with direct view neon tubing and
the knowledge of its superiority to incandescent lighting they
developed this innovative approach, solving a serious problem
- Sign Readability in Direct Sunlight. |

Back-lighting
allows the use of a sunscreen which with a 50% increase in illumination,
over incandescent, makes it possible to guarantee more than
visibility - but readability too. Plus,
the sunscreen blanks-out the sign creating a phantom message
when it's off and eliminates false and confusing messages from
reflected sunlight. |

Another
important benefit of back-lighting is the message panel can
be either printed or overlaid with computer stenciled vinyl.
This allows the application of any message, within frame size and
distance readability guidelines, to vary economically and quickly
- even ATM and corporate logos. |

More
firsts were added: A one-piece extruded aluminum frame adding
strength, durability, and weather resistance; An exclusive Easy-Install
surface mount back panel that significantly reduces installation
time; A unique Thermo-Formed tray that protects the neon grid
making it very resistant to vibration and damage. Together with
neon these features provide the benefits of high reliability,
durability, low energy and maintenance requirements, and long-life.

With the recent development of the Zeron Sunscreen System (patent
pending), and the introduction of direct view LED Bank Drive-Thru
Lane signs and signals, Signal-Tech will be one of the leading LED sign companies for years to come. These high value LED signs feature the
same frame durability and installation ease as neon, and they're
two inches slimmer. Plus, our LED system is as much as 50% brighter
than neon. They're so bright that a sunscreen isn't necessary
to guarantee visibility and readability in all outdoor light
conditions. The tinted Polycarbonate face is damage resistant
and blanks-out the sign when off. However, the best news is
- our LED signs and signals use 10% of the energy of a comparable
incandescent unit, and they can be trouble free for more than
10 years. They'll literally pay for themselves! |
