Post Mounting for Signs

Durable sign posts are aluminum 2.25"" x 3"" rectangular, painted duranodic bronze, and available in stock lengths of 40"", 60"", 90"" and 120"".
Signal-Tech provides two post mounting options, base plate and direct burial. For base plate mounting a 6""x6"" aluminum plate welded to the post, permitting the sign to be bolted securely to a hard surface, such as concrete, pavement or a building surface. Direct burial mounting, in which the posts are entrenched and cemented 30"" into the ground, is for applications without a solid surface for bolting down a base plate.
Our post can be used in single, double, inverted or projection mount applications.
Single posts can be used to mount a sign up to 26 inches in length. The post can be mounted in the center of the sign; narrow signs have the option of attaching the post on the side of the sign in a flag mount.
Double post mounts are used to anchor large free-standing signs, with one post on either side of the sign. Inverted mounting is used to bring attention to a sign that hangs from a high ceiling surface. Base plates are welded onto the posts, allowing the sign to be bolted to the ceiling or overhang.
Projection post mounting requires two posts; one is mounted on the top of the sign and the other on the bottom, using base plates to bolt the sign to a wall. Normally, a base plate is welded to the post at a 90 degree angle; however, we can customize the angle to suit your application. This method is often used to make a sign more visible as motorist come around the corner of a building.
