Our incandescent signs use incandescent bulbs specifically designed with low wattages for sign usage to prevent heat damage to the sign. The life expectancy of an incandescent bulb is 10,000 hours (1 year). In addition, each of our incandescent light chambers uses two bulbs to ensure maximum quality and even illumination of the message.

In backlit signs, the bulbs are set behind the message face, which emits light through stenciled cut sign quality vinyl applied to a polycarbonate face panel, then covered by an additional tinted polycarbonate protective panel.

Color

Our incandescent signs use protective reflector chambers to separate different colored areas of the message. This internal light barrier technique prevents unwanted light bleed in multiple message and multiple color signs.

Typically the signs come standard in duranodic bronze; however color matching is available. Non-illuminated signs such as clearance bars and post and panel signs can also be customized to any color you need.

We have a large array of vinyl colors available for backlit and non-illuminated signs. We can also custom order specific vinyl colors and types.

Cabinet Sizes

Incandescent backlit signs are only available in three sizes: 7"x18", 7"x34" and 14"x18".
